We just returned from an 8 day Road Trip up the California Coast to Oregon. Along the way we stopped and visited several places that were inspirations for DCA. I’ll be doing a series of blog posts coming soon comparing some the locations with their DCA versions.
But the first thing I wanted to share was a little side trip to a road side attraction just north of San Francisco. The Yoda and Indiana Jones statues in San Anselmo Ca.
In 2013 George Lucas turned a commercial building into a cute little public park that features a fountain and sculptures of both Indiana Jones and Yoda. The Yoda statue is an identical cast of the statue outside ILM at the Presidio in San Francisco. I was going to stop there at ILM, but decided I could kill two birds with one stone with one stop in San Anselmo.
With Star Wars and Indiana Jones my two favorite Movie Franchises this little park in this cute little town was a must stop.
