(Spoilers)

The Star Wars Rebels Series finale can be described with one word.   Satisfying.   Much like Agents of Shields 100th episode this finale was able to bring in a bunch of characters that we meet over the 4 years of the show and provide, and action packed and exciting conclusion.   The Rebels crew puts into motion a daring plan to take back Lothal from the Empire.   The 3 episodes were crammed with action in the form of gun battles, space battles, lightsaber fights and giant wolves attacking stormtroopers.   My only complaint with the episodes was the plan that involved Rider supposedly betraying them to lure Governor Price into the fight.  The episode was so action packed that I was able to overlook this flawed plan.

The rebels succeed in taking over the imperial base just to have Thrawn arrive to spoil their plans.   Ezra is forced to turn himself over to Thrawn to avoid the bombardment of in the city.  Then we are treated to a cool sequence involving The Emperor tempting Ezra.   Fortunately, Ezra has one last trick up his sleeve that saves the day and leaves things open for another intriguing story to be told someday.  The rebels defeat the empire and many characters get satisfying conclusions to their stories.  The story than jumps to the end the battle of Endor where we see that Hera had a child with Kanan,  Zeb has returned to his home world and in the last seconds Ashoka shows up to pick up Sabine and go and search for Ezra in the far reaches of the galaxy.  That is how you end a show.

This show has been good –but has had the occasional lack luster episode here and there.   The last 7 episodes of this season have been stellar and have really cemented its place in Star Wars canon.
